The KAIROS research project was honored to participate in the 24th Conference on Artificial Intelligence for Environmental Science, part of the 105th AMS Annual Meeting, which took place from January 12–16, 2025, in New Orleans, Louisiana. This prestigious event brought together experts from academia, industry, and policymaking to discuss the latest advancements in meteorology, climate science, and Earth system research.
During the conference, Bûn-Kim San, researcher from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M), presented a poster showcasing his latest research on "Physics-Informed AI for Wind Forecasting using Satellite and Aircraft Observations" . The presentation sparked insightful discussions and provided an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas with fellow researchers and professionals.
