AI METHODS, coordinator of the KAIROS research project, recently hosted a webinar highlighting one of the project’s key technological developments: the use of artificial intelligence for low visibility prediction to support more effective and resilient aviation planning.
In this 30-minute session, AI METHODS experts in aerospace engineering and machine learning presented their approach to addressing the challenges of forecasting fog and adapting AI systems to dynamic environmental conditions. The event attracted interest from key stakeholders for the KAIROS project, especially meteorological service providers.
These were the webinar featured speakers and topics:
Nicolas Manzano Carretero — The challenge of anticipating fog with precision
Damiano Brunori — How can we keep an AI system learning and adapting to a changing world?
Iván Martínez Vidal — Getting the most out of our AI models

The research presented in this webinar has been developed under the KAIROS project, supported by the SESAR 3 Joint Undertaking and its members under grant agreement No 101114701.
